Therapy method:

1. Surgery

Most patient will experience hysterectomy (womb lifting). 2. Irradiating therapy ( radiation)

Irradiating can be done before surgery (to minimize tumor measure) or after surgery (to kill remaining cancer cells). There is 2 irradiating therapy type applied to cure womb cancer:

a. External radiation: applied a big radiation machine to point ray to tumor area. Irradiating usually is done counted 5 time/weeks for several weeks and patient is not necessarily to be taken care of in hospital. At external radiation there is no radioactivity matter packed into by body.

b. Internal radiation: applied a small tubing containing a radioactivity matter, what enter through vagina and let for several day. During experiencing internal radiation, patient was taken care of in hospital.

3. Chemotherapy At therapy hormonal is applied matter capable to prevent hormone arrival to cancer cell and prevents usage of hormone by cancer cell. Hormone can patch at hormone receptor and causes change in womb network. Before done by hormone therapy, patient experiences hormone receptor test. If network had receptor, hence very possibly patient will give response to therapy hormonal. Therapy hormonal is systematical therapy because can influence cells in all body. At therapy hormonal usually is applied progesterone pill. Therapy hormonal done at:

a. Womb cancer patient that is is not possibly experiences surgery and or irradiating therapy

b. Patient which the cancer has disseminated to other lung or body organ

c. Patient which the womb cancer returns recurrence. If cancer had disseminated or not given response to therapy hormonal, so given by other chemotherapy drug, that is siklofosfamid, doxorubicin and sisplastin.

Cancer therapy side effects

Therapy of cancer can cause damage at healthy cell and network, in consequence can generate some side effects that is not is expected. The side effect depends on to various factors, between of type and therapy broadness. After experiencing hysterectomy, patient usually experiences pain in bone and feels very fatigue. Most patients will return to experiences the normal activity within 4-8 weeks after surgery. Some patient experiences nausea and vomit and urine trouble and defecation. Woman which had experienced hysterectomy will not experience menstruates and haves no pregnancy again. If ovary is also lifted, so patient is also experiences menopause. Hot flashes and other menopause symptom as result of hysterectomy usually heavier compared to symptom which arising from natural menopause. At some patients, hysterectomy can influence the relation of sexual. Patient feels loss causing finds difficulties in doing the relation of sexual.

Side effects from irradiating therapy hardly depends on to dose and part of body illuminated. Usually skin becomes drought and red, hair shaped in area illuminated experiences fall off, appetite decreases and remarkable fatigue. Some patients feel pruritis, dryness and paint at the vagina. Irradiating also causes diarrhoea or often urine. Radiation is also able to cause the happening of degradation of white blood count. Woman consuming progesterone can be experience improvement of appetite, accumulation of dilution and addition of body weight. If still experiencing menstruates, so the cycle can be experience change.

Prevention

Every woman better is experience inspection of flank and Pap smear in routine, to find abnormal growth marking. Woman having womb cancer risk factor is better if a more regular experiences inspection of flank, Pap smear and screening test (including endometrium biopsy).
